Why are you alone?
Some guys are alone by choice. Usually the reason is that they do not want to be only with one partner or they have not met a woman who they wanted to be with, yet.
Therefore, loneliness is the stage in their life and not a problem that needs to be solved quickly. Nevertheless for most men loneliness is a problem. Although they know they would be happier if they were in a stable relationship, they think it is impossible for them to have a long-term commitment and a stable relationship.
There are men who are sexually active, but they cannot keep a sexual relationship for long. The long-term commitment seems to be not for them and a long-term relationship always ends up with disappointment. It may be their life style and they feel good with it. It is very difficult for them to concentrate on an emotional side of a relationship. They prefer flirts or one night stands to long-term commitment. Men of this type are alone by their choice.
There are also some men who suffer from their loneliness. And we should pay more attention to these men. The lonely man suffers because he could not met his life partner or if he met her it was very difficult for him to start a relationship. I think it is possible to work on it. I am not a psychologist who tries to cure somebody from loneliness but I would like to share some thoughts. The first step is to discover your self-esteem. It is important to understand, you deserve to be loved. Look at yourself in the mirror and say: I am an attractive person. It is easier said than done, but you'd better to start working on it.
